During his college career, Tebow amassed 9,286 passing yards, 2,947 rushing yards, 88 passing touchdowns and 53 rushing touchdowns. In 2007, he became the first underclassman to ever win the Heisman trophy. In his five years as a Gators’ quarterback, he led them to two BCS Championships in 2007 and 2009. It was his stellar career as a Gator that made him an enticing pick for the 2010 NFL Draft, when he was selected during the Broncos’ first-round draft. Though he saw limited time on the field during his debut NFL season, Tebow displayed the same skills that made him a top-notch college quarterback, succeeding at both passing and rushing.
